Some other important tourist attractions in Mahbubnagar are, -Pillalamari – It has the famous Banyan tree which dates back nearly 500 years. The tree is so large that it covers an area of about 4 acres, and can provide shade to around 1000 people. -Mannanur – This is one of the largest tiger sanctuaries in the world. Located on the by the river Krishna in the valley of Nallamalai hills, this sanctuary houses a large variety of fauna. Some of the animals which you would find here are Tigers, Panthers, Jackals, Indian Giant Squirrel, Mouse Deer, Spotted Deer, Sambhar Deer, Black Bucks, Wild Boar, Chousingha Nilgai, Tree Shrew, Mugger Crocodiles, Wolves, Rayel, Wild dogs, Foxes, and Sloth Bear. -Farahabad – It is located at an altitude of 914 meters from the sea level on the Nallamalla Hills, a part of the Eastern Ghats. The climate up there is fantastic and it is a fabulous tourist spot. This name Farahabad mean pleasant mountain.
